Итоги ходовых испытаний катамарана в майские праздники. Вывод 1. руки таки помнят. Оказалось достаточным сделать лишь несколько галсов, чтобы вспомнить основные приемы управления парусами и катамараном. Вывод 2. Катамаран практически готов к Белому морю. Практически это потому, что нужно совсем немножко докрутить систему подъема шверта и руля, а также починить то, что мы сломали во время экспериментов. Вывод 3. Пожалуй, на Белом нужен экипаж минимум из 3х человек. Хотя, может быть нам было немного неуютно чисто из-за непривычки. На небольших майских шкваликах катамаран начинал делат

Когда у меня появилась идея совершить морское путешествие, а именно пройти 600 километров по Белому морю с заходом на Соловки, я сначала думал взять парусный катамаран в аренду. Однако, все катамараны, которые я смог найти в различных прокатах туристического снаряжения, оказались малопригодны для похода по Белому. Точнее, на них можно ходить по Белому морю хорошую погоду и на небольшие расстояния. От идеи купить новый катамаран я тоже достаточно быстро отказался. В водах описываемого района отмечается разрушительная деятельность морских древоточцев. Здесь обитает сверлящий ракообразный древоточец лимнория Свечение моря. В описываемом районе наблюдаются искрящееся, разлитое и вспышковое свечение. Искрящееся свечение обусловлено вспышками света, излучаемого микроскопическими и мелкими морскими организмами (ночесветка, рачок метридия) в виде искорок и проблесков.
