Good news from Nepal! Local authorities decided to open country for tourists from 17th August. So we are starting to prepare again for trekking to Everest Base Camp through Gokyo Lakes. We are choosing flight options, and invite everyone to join us. We are still planning to walk into the Himalayas by the following route: Kathmandu - Lukla - Namche Bazar - Gokyo Lake (with an ascent to Gokyo Ri, 5,350m) - Cho la pass (5,450m) - Gorak Shep (with an ascent to Kalapattar, 5,620m) - Pass Kongma La (5 300m) - Tengboche - Namche Bazar - Lukla - Kathmandu.
We plan to spend the nights in lodges and hotels. We plan to start in early October 2020.
I really missed the Himalayas! I hope everything will be according to plan this time.
